Election Results 2016

Unfortunately the Green Party was unable to gain any seats in Warrington at this year's all-out Borough Council elections. Overall vote share was slightly down from 2015, although there were gains in some wards.

The results were as follows:

In Appleton, Green candidate David Bilton received 447 votes, an overall share of 4.7% (+4.7) of the vote.

In Chapelford and Old Hall, Green candidate Mike Wass received 204 votes, an overall share of 2.9% (+2.9) of the vote.

In Fairfield and Howley, Green candidate Lyndsay McAteer received 344 votes, an overall share of 6.8% (-1.2) of the vote.

In Great Sankey North, Green candidate Stephanie Davies received 332 votes, an overall share of 5.1% (+0.7) of the vote.

In Latchford East, Green candidate John Lappin received 85 votes, an overall share of 3.2% (+3.2) of the vote.

In Stockton Heath, Green candidate Harry Gibbins received 147 votes, an overall share of 3.3% (-3.0%) of the vote.
